What Identity Confirmation Means on Dealcova
An identity-confirmed profile means the person completed Dealcova's required identity check. It does not certify their products, service quality, business registration, or future conduct.

The current verification flow
Dealcova uses Prembly to validate the submitted BVN and match required identity details. Dealcova then uses the verified details when requesting the user's Squad virtual account. If the required identity details do not match, the production flow does not mark the user as verified.
Why identity matching matters
Identity matching makes it harder to create a public seller profile under details that do not match the verification record. Squad also applies its own identity requirements when issuing a virtual account.
What the public label means
Only active sellers who have completed the required identity check are eligible for a public Dealcova seller profile. The public label communicates that status without exposing the seller's BVN or private verification payload.
What it does not mean
Identity confirmation is not a guarantee, recommendation, endorsement, product inspection, or business-registration check. Buyers should still review the exact offer, agree clear terms, and use the recorded deal flow.
